Rated for 2000MHz bandwidth and up to 40Gbps of data transfer, far beyond what Cat6 or Cat7 cables can deliver, ideal for gaming, streaming and data center switch-to-server links.
26AWG shielded twisted-pair copper, an aluminum foil shield and a woven mesh shield work together to reduce signal interference to a minimum, even in electrically noisy environments.
A UV-resistant PVC jacket withstands direct sunlight, extreme cold, heat and humidity, so the cable can be run outdoors or buried directly without a conduit.
Gold-plated shielded RJ45 connectors on both ends work with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and Cat7 devices, so you never need to worry about compatibility when upgrading.
I bought this cable in hopes it would help boost my internet speeds. It sure does, too! Since I connected my router to my modem with this cable, my speeds rose and became more stable. I especially liked how I could buy a short cord so there wasn't any leftover cord to coil, wrap, etc. The cable is well-built, durable and sturdy, and was a steal at this price.
I bought this ethernet cable because it was an Amazon offer. Although I didn't want a large cable because I just wanted this for my Steam Link and also because I like to have really good cable management, the quality is better than expected and has great performance for remote playing. I highly recommend it.
This wire doubled the internet speed of our wireless mesh system, which had previously been on an old Cat 5 wire that was 10+ years old. The cable makes a difference! This one looks much thicker and I would assume better shielded than the one the cable company gave us.
Nice and sturdy cable. Speed is as mentioned. Satisfied with quality.
This Ethernet cable is just right for my application, 1.5ft, perfect for my setup — short distance from my Roku TV to my router. Removed the extra long coil of cable collecting dust, and it works very well.
I purchased this Cat 8 ethernet cable for my Fire TV stick, connected directly to my modem. I bought it because it's the newest ethernet cable available, and the shorter connection between the device and your modem, the faster it travels and the more it improves your speed.
The cable seems well built and seats well in the RJ45 port. My continuity tester confirmed it works as expected. So far, so good! I am replacing my Cat6 and Cat7 cables and hoping it will make a difference.
These are some of the best cables you can get that aren't fiber optic. The only downside is that they can't do much to help your internet speed when your ISP is highly unreliable. For pure network speed, however, they do very well.
This short CAT-8 ethernet cable was a real find. It's well built with a gold wash metal shield on the connectors, and the release clips are easy to use. There's an added bonus of 2 really nice soft velcro cable ties.
